The term syrup identifies a solution formed by sugar and water in decreasing proportions, characterised by a sweet taste and a high viscosity.

Syrups usually have a neutral taste. The syrup is flavoured with natural or natural-like flavours.

Citric acid is subsequently added to the product as an acidifier and as a pH corrector.
Finally, the formula is completed by other vegetable substances such as juices or extracts.

Of course, sugary products also include honey and toppings.
